ABOUT ME

For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to make movies. As a kid, I thought I wanted to be a director, but then I discovered what a DP does and realized what I really wanted. Early in my career, I shot almost every type of video: web and TV series, documentaries, music videos, commercials, corporate and event videos. Then, in 2008, I entered the world of cinema. Since then I’ve shot and color graded short and feature films for many directors, travelling across Europe and the US, testing myself on a wide range of genres. I don't have a specific style; I shape my work according to the story I'm telling. Still, there's a constant in what I do as a DP: I always strive to bring something unique to each film. I love telling stories and creating a new world for each one of them. I’m passionate about experimenting and continuously learning. I keep myself up to date with the latest techniques, equipment and technologies, constantly looking for the best way to convey information and emotions through framing, camera movements and lighting. To me, filmmaking is the teamwork required to bring the director’s vision to life. It’s always about working together toward a shared goal. And that's one of the things I love most about making movies.
